![]() ![]() Amnesia: The Dark Descent manages to insert the \"An old man who doesn't give a _ should be put down, you didn't need to do testicles on a _ son of a bitch!\" line in a way which makes the result a satisfying and more than satisfying game. There are plenty of examples of games which try to subtly imply their message in a way that is still fairly obvious, but that does come down to either having a shell game, a subtle message, or just being really really bad at a job. That's pretty good for a game whose game reviewers once wondered if taking out the \"what the hell is this?\" out of the game was pushing the boundaries a little bit. ![]() The game doesn't hide who he is, but it's clear that the protagonist has no idea what's going on. The game ends with a very short and powerful speech from the protagonist which will leave players wondering what exactly happened. He's an assassin, so of course he's gonna kill his targets.
